Billing & Insurance

Beata Brooks Therapy does not accept insurance, however, Superbills are provided upon request to receive out of network benefits from your insurance if available. Clients are responsible for verifying available benefits and requirements. We do take all major credit cards and HSA accounts.

Referrals

Beata Brooks Therapy is a cash only practice meaning no referrals are needed to begin evaluation/therapy services with us. Please be aware that a referral may be needed if the family wants to pursue an out of network payment via Super Bill submission.

In our practice, we use a whole child approach meaning we will always discuss and refer families to other professionals as needed after our initial evaluation. These may include airway focused dentists, orthodontists, otolaryngologists (Ear Nose and Throat) specialists, allergists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, neurodiversity affirming behavioral therapists, chiropractors, craniosacral therapists.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do your services cost?

Initial evaluations are $400, 30 minute therapy sessions are $80 and 1 hour therapy sessions are $140.

How long will the evaluation take?

Initial evaluations last between 1.5 to 2 hours. An intake phone consultation will precede all in person evaluations. After the evaluation, the therapist will schedule a follow up phone call to discuss results and develop a plan of treatment. We will always keep our conversations professional and positive in front of our young clients. Any concerns will be discussed in a separate private conversation with the caregivers.

When should we expect therapy services to begin after the initial evaluation?

Evaluation reports are typically provided within a week of the initial evaluation. Since we do not directly work with insurance, therapy services can begin as soon as our families are ready to begin.

Can my child attend therapy at school and receive private therapy with Beata Brooks Therapy?

YES. We encourage collaboration and we ask all of our families to sign a release of confidential information in order for us to be able to communicate with all therapists involved in your child’s journey.

Where do you provide therapy?

We offer services in our office at 6016 Southwest Blvd, as well as in our clients’ homes, schools (preschool, daycare, private school), in the community (parks, play spaces) and via tele-practice.

What are your hours?

We provide therapy sessions between 8:30am and 6pm Monday-Thursdays and 8:30am-3pm on Fridays.

How long will therapy take?

Each client’s journey is different, hence treatment plans are based on their own individual needs. Factors such as levels of support needed, family participation in therapy and support between sessions all play a key role in treatment outcomes.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We understand life happens. We kindly ask for a 24 hour notice for non-emergency cancellations and at least a 3 hour notice in emergency situations such as illnesses. Non adherence with our cancellation policy will result in a charge in the amount of a full session.
